Right Where Deans Wants Them

Clever guy that Robbie Deans.

Win a few to instill belief. Make some at first apparently very clever starting team changes (Timana Tahu at inside centre, Matt Dunning starting). Talk the talk and look history in the eye (consecutive wins in South Africa for the first time since Nelson Mandela was a boy). Build the team up with over confidence (playing well, got the patterns and combinations, new blood, no scars etc etc). Watch them lose massively and crash back to Earth, view their own mortality etc etc. Don't peak too early. Come back better and stronger in three years time when winning conecutive big matches away from home really counts.

Genius.
